Kool Deadwood Nites 2010 Summary of Events

Thursday, August 26th

4 p.m. - 8 p.m. - Car Registration - Deadwood Gulch Convention Center.

6pm - 9pm - People’s Choice Award Voting – History and Information Center Parking Lot.

7 pm - 10 pm - 3rd Annual Sock Hop with DJ - History and Information Parking Lot (*Must be registered to park in lot. First come, first served.) 9 pm - Results of People's Choice (during Sock Hop) – History and Information Center Parking Lot.

Friday, August 27th

9 am - 7 pm - Car Registration - Deadwood Gulch Convention Center

10am – 2pm - Deadwood Rod Run – Escorted tour through beautiful Spearfish Canyon.

Noon - 7 pm - Owners Only BBQ – Deadwood Gulch Convention Center.

Noon to 5 pm - Auction vehicle check-in at the Open Cut parking lot in Lead (for Saturday auction vehicles) -

5 pm - FREE Main Street Concerts begin! Featuring The Kid & Nic Show, DD and the Fayroh’s and SHA NA NA!

Saturday, August 28th

7am - 11:30am - Car Registration, Deadwood Gulch Convention Center. 9:30 am - Auction begins with memorabilia and artwork at Open Cut parking lot in Lead - (vehicle auction to begin at 10 a.m., end around 4 p.m.)

8am - noon - Classic Car Competition/Judging - Days of ’76 Rodeo Grounds/Ferguson Field, across from the First Gold Hotel.

10am - 4pm - Poker Runs – – throughout the Black Hills.

4 pm - Poker Run Awards party at Tin Lizzie on lower Main Street.

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Auction Vehicle Check-in at Deadwood Gulch Gaming Resort (for Sunday vehicle auction)

5 pm - FREE Main Street Concerts begin! Featuring DD and the Fayroh’s , Art Poco’s The Rat Pack and THE PLATTERS!

Sunday, August 29th

7 am - Parade line-up begins – Rodeo Grounds/Ferguson Field.

Show and Shine – Main Street, immediately following the parade.

9:30 a.m. - Vehicle, memorabilia and artwork auction at Deadwood Gulch Gaming Resort

11 am - Awards - Parking lot at the History and Information Center, 11am.

The 2010 Kool Deadwood Nites features a classic vehicle auction managed by McPherson Auction and Realty Company. The auction is open to the public and there's no fee for a buyer's number. Visit www.mcphersonauction.com for more auction info.
