Jacobs Brewery
Jacobs Brewery is proud to be the only Brewery actually brewing beer in Deadwood. The doors opened in May of 2021. The Jacobs Brewery is a stunning display of eclectic décor with 38 foot long bar and crystal chandeliers. The handmade metal structure above the bar has the illusion of repurposed railroad trestles. It was sealed and welded on-site, including all 1,400 rivets. The front wall of the bar opens up, but not in your traditional opening-a-garage-door type of way. Rather, the front window runs on a pivot, with all 1,450 pounds opening and closing without any kind of mechanics. To say those are the most popular seats during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Kool Deadwood Nites and all the other summer events, would be an understatement. Our Master Brewer, Carson Quinn has quite the resume’. Carson and his family moved here from Colorado and we quickly formed a relationship. He has been with us creating unique recipes since before the doors were open. Carson has already brewed 15 different house-made beers, with a wide variety to satisfy any beer lover. From pale ales to IPAs and saisons to stouts, your favorite kind of beer can be found on tap. Along with those beer recipes, Carson and are talented bartenders have created beer cocktails as well.
You won’t find regular pub food here. We share the Jacobs Brewhouse food menu, so you know you’re getting some classic staples, plus some ‘out of the box’ creations. We are so blessed to have the youth of Executive Chef Caleb. All smoked meat is done on premise in the custom-made smoker out back. Another noteworthy topic are the ingredients used and all the house-made items. Because everything is made to order, accommodating different diets is always easily handled. You don’t have to worry about ‘already prepared’ dishes, ‘no substitutions allowed’. You tell us what you want, and you will get it.
