The Hampton Inn by Hilton in Lead, SD, located at 900 Miners Ave, off Glendale Drive, we’re a half-mile away from Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center, The Black Hills Mining Museum, and the Historic Homestake Opera House. Spearfish Canyon is a thirty-minute drive away. Plus, everyone’s favorite destinations, Mt. Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial are just under two hours away. Closer to the hotel are the city center, Deadwood attractions, and casinos just three miles down the road, the George S. Mickelson Trail for biking, hiking, and walking less than three miles away, and in the winter Terry Peak Ski Area. We offer complimentary self-parking and covered parking available on a limited basis for $15 per day. Free Continental Breakfast from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in our breakfast room on the lobby level. Other amenities on the lobby level included a Fitness Center, Guest Laundry, and the hotel Treat Shop. Guest Services is available 24 hours a day. All of our rooms are Non-Smoking. We also offer Pet-Friendly rooms, Connecting Rooms, E-Check-in, Digital Key, Free Wi-Fi, and Streaming TV. Meeting Rooms are available for groups needing a private space to conduct business or leisure. The new Hampton by Hilton is ADA accessible offering a variety of features. The hotel complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The parking lot features accessible spots, van access as well as wheelchair accessibility. The entire lobby level from the entrance to the exit is accessible as well as the elevators that gain entrance to the guest floors with an audible alert system. The lobby level has accessible restrooms, a breakfast room, and Fitness Center as well. The hotel has a lift that allows all guests access to our atrium to enjoy the comfort and scenery. There are Visual alarms for the hearing impaired in hallways and public areas. Service pets are always welcome. Our accessible rooms offer spacious bathrooms with grab bars. They are also equipped with closed captioning on televisions or closed captioning decoders, digital alarm clocks available with sound, and a vibrating pad, digital alarm clock available with sound and strobe light. Other features are Doorbells w/Audio/Strobe Alert, Emergency Call Button on Phone, Strobe alarms, and TTY for guest use. We also have lowered emergency evacuation instructions and visual alarms for the hearing impaired. Hotel Check-In is 3:00 pm and Check­out is 11 am. Please ask for information regarding late check-ins and late check-outs.
