Outlaw Homestead- Deadwood

Welcome to Outlaw Homestead, walking distance to Main Street Deadwood. A Little Bit of Crazy, A Little Bit of Loud, And a Whole Lot of Fun!!!!

Deadwood’s Outlaw Homestead celebrates some of Deadwood’s most famous outlaws.  When you arrive in this beautiful 2-story depression era home that sleeps 10, take your pick from the Calamity Jane Room, Seth Bullock room, or the “Wild” Bill Hickok room?  Able to accommodate couples, families, or groups in the spacious living room which extends into the relaxing enclosed front porch. The fully stocked kitchen and dining room give you the option to eat in, or you can choose the outdoor grill and oversized picnic table in the backyard. Large bedrooms upstairs have luxury beds, quality linens and décor which is specific to each room of our “outlaws.” For those perfect Deadwood nights, the backyard is a peaceful and private retreat, with the mountain backdrop and café lights overhead. Lay in the hammock, maybe play a game of corn hole, or sit and relax in one of the many Adirondack chairs. This space has been a guest favorite. As a bonus, there is a garage and long driveway which will accommodate a trailer or multiple vehicles. The house is located away from the noise of Deadwood’s main street, but it’s just a short walk or trolley ride to the town’s nightlife, restaurants, gaming, and major historic sites.

Nearby Attractions: Mickelson Trail Directly across the street is the trailhead to the 114-mile-long hiking and biking trail which follows the route of a historic railroad. The Mickelson Trail begins in Deadwood and stretches the entire length of the Black Hills. Summer time bike rentals available at the trailhead. Outlaw Square This new addition to Deadwood main street has free and ticketed outdoor concerts, kids activities, and year-around fun for everyone. Mount Moriah Cemetery A short walk or drive from Outlaw Homestead, walk through history and see the final resting place of famous outlaws such as Calamity Jane, Seth Bullock, and “Wild” Bill Hickok. Days of ’76 Museum and Rodeo  The Days of ’76 Museum is a five-minute drive and has rare Native American artifacts, rodeo exhibits, and a large collection of historic firearms. The rodeo grounds host large rodeos such as Deadwood PBR, Days of ’76 Rodeo. Truly the “Best Rodeo. No Bull”.  The Days of ’76 Rodeo has been PRCA Rodeo of the Year 19 times!  Deadwood Recreation & Aquatic Center  Providing a zero entry pool and waterslide year around. Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse These most famous Black Hills attractions can be accessed from Deadwood through a scenic drive with many sites along the way.
